#WritersCoffeeClub 5/5. Is there a certain kind of story or arc that is easier for you to write as a short story than others?
Not really.
I sometimes write short stories - usually, they turn into novellas, though.
To me, a short story is about one moment in time, one specific event, something "unheard of" in that person's life. (Yes, that harks back to Goethe's "unerhörte Begebenheit".)
That helps me write short(er) stories. And sometimes, I'm in the mood for that.
