I love Nine Inch Nails, and I love the Revolting Cocks, but I've never listened to, like, any Ministry. I wonder if I should. One problem is it's hard to know where to get started, there is a lot of it
@mcc they are quite different over the years. Given your disposition to RevCo and NIN; I’d start with earlier Ministry. Twitch, Everyday is Halloween, and Land of Rape and Honey are gonna line up more. You may also enjoy some of the other side projects from that era if you haven’t tried them. Acid Horse, PTP, Lead into Gold or 1000 Homo DJs. All the later stuff starts to get a lot more guitar focused and less adventurous (though I do love The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste and Psalm 69).
@zalasur "Ministry is one of those bands where if you start with a random album it will be a solid choice no matter what" a strong data point in favor of this was i got like five different "well if you listen to just one album, listen to…" albums in responses to my question lol
