In France, we don't usually have washcloths but "wash gloves."
Not actually a glove, but two washcloths sewn together on three sides if you want.
Apparently, it's called "washing mitt" in English (TIL too)
@ZachWeinersmith Toilette doesn't necessarily mean toilet... Like Eu de toilette, it can also simply mean something you use on the bathroom. For non toilet related things. :)
@ZachWeinersmith A l'origine, c'était plus pratique pour se laver sans douche, avec juste un lavabo, on peut faire une toilette très satisfaisante avec ça. Dans une douche c'est moins utile je pense.
Sinon c'est pas plus bête qu'une éponge de douche.
