There is nothing more "this can't be how this is intended to work" than manually typing an authorization code from one pop-up window to another on the same device.

The one that sends me off the deep end is Xfinity’s mobile app which does nothing but interface with the web site…. Geezus. And it’s easy to get stuck in a 2-factor authentication loop as it uses the app as the 2nd factor…. What?
