For some reason I'm reminded of this famous exchange between Dennis Skinner & the Speaker of the House:
DS: 'Half the Tories opposite are crooks'
Speaker: 'Please retract'
DS: 'OK, half the Tories opposite aren't crooks'
Nowadays one might quibble with Skinner's proportions, but the message stands....
