@RickiTarr For me it is surreal. Why so much secrecy? It's as easy as crossing the border to another state, isn't it. Well I understand that people do not have the resources to travel but they can be helped. It should be legal. And put a clinic right on the border and from there the women can giving the other side the finger.
@juancho_me There are links for transportation and places to stay if you need to go to another state, but most abortion clinics have pretty large waiting lists and there have been issues with people tracking women, some people prefer the ease and savings of not having to get a surgical procedure which is several hundred dollars. It's a sad mess.
@juancho_me@RickiTarr There is legal framework in many red states to prosecute women to crossing state lines to obtain an abortion, and they are working hard to do things like get the police (or even volunteer "patriots" to pull over women in cars near state lines to check for belly bumps.
