Maybe differently. I have an account on pixelfed.social. In Fedilab adds an account and in the instance I give pixelfed.social, I log in and it's ok. When I open the local timeline, I see entries from other different instances, but not from pixelfed.social. If I want to add a pixelfed in the timeline options, I have a message that this instance does not have any timeline.
Are you able to signify multimedia attachments with something OUTSIDE the video frame? Maybe use an orange frame?
Right now it's just a gray triangle in a small circle in the middle of the video frame. Sometimes it blends unnoticeably into the background, and I tap on the video thinking I'm just enlarging the "picture". It starts playing, and the sound disturbs others.

For following a Lemmy timeline, open the main menu > Manage timelines.
Tap on the top right "+" button and follow the example in the screenshot.

You can probably get rid of the "Twitter account via Nitter" bit now that Nitter can't access Twitter anymore since Twitter became log-in-only... @meinbier

Is there some requirements I don't understand? I get a message saying "no timelines found on this instance", but I thought it was meant to follow a remote lemmy instance, not via my mastodon acct?
@apps To start with, I wanted to check out https://lemmy.world/c/r_programming@programming.dev , so I pasted that in the textbox "instance" and chose "lemmy instance" in the radial button meny, and thats when I get the error.
Still can't seem to get adding #Lemmy timelines to #FedilabApp to work. I added it, exactly as suggested in this thread, and can only see "no messages to display". This also happens when I try to add #PixelFed timelines. Is there something I'm doing wrong or could try differently?
