There's a fair sized chunk of the UK trans community moving over to Bluesky, early days but seems positive vibes so far. I love the Fediverse, but totally understand lots of folk just want a Twitter-like platform without the Elon and toxicity factors

A migration is in progress, pace is based on Bluesky invite availability, and honestly the fewer remaining on Twitter the better. I knew Elon would burn it down by Nov but he's exceeded my wildest expectations in every way (I deleted my account in early Dec)
@Natasha_Jay@LevelUp it's a shame so many of the high profile trans accounts don't want to move. They seem to think they will achieve something engaging GCs in twitter.

I mean if they're serious, they could try arguing their case on the "Sex and Gender Forum" on MumsNet instead? I swear to god, reading that forum for a year taught me you can't engage with the TERFS and GCs ... definitely would be helpful if many of the larger trans accounts could set an example

Micro-actions help - like telling my GP that GenderGP (private informed consent provider in the UK) is actually what we need and why ... she listens as I'm trans, super-informed medically. Go and see your MP etc (mine is a bit of a fence-sitter but I did my bit). It opens their minds at least
