If you in , you might be interested to know that Margo Bruner-Settles's anti-bike-lane billboard truck ran a red light in front of me today.

The same truck, now passed to the other side of the still red light.

@Tevis Okay I am NOT from Baltimore but who the fudge i against BIKE LANES?

I can get people being against closing up entire streets, but to convert space to bike lanes? That usually do not mean interfering with actual traffic?

@WhyNotZoidberg A lot of folks fixate on parking, and the perception that bike lanes interfere with parking. What few protected bike lanes we have in Baltimore are parking-protected.

@Tevis @WhyNotZoidberg
That may be because many places in the US do it backwards. The parking lane should be between the road and the cycle lane. Not the other way around.

Road - parked cars - cycle lane - sidewalk.

@leeloo @Tevis Over here it is even more common to widen the sidewalk and split it in a walking path and a bike path so the bike lane is up high, away from traffic altogether.
