28 years ago, on August 24, 1995, the digital realm took a neon-lit turn as Microsoft unveiled Windows 95, the OG of operating systems.
It was a time when dial-up internet reigned supreme, computing was, well, a bit more...radical, the Start button, "Start Me Up" and the iconic Windows 95 start-up sound.
So here's to the OS that brought us the digital pastel dreamscape, Windows 95 – forever etched in tech history.
