@fredbrooker 4TB!! Wow haha. I've gained and lost many over the years, I do have over 50GB on one computer now and my phone has over 22GB, there's some overlap. But stuff is mostly full til I expand 😂
Today's vinyl arrival - been eyeing this one for a while. One of my favorite songs from my favorite band, circa 1988. And with a (killer) Who cover on the b-side! Wasn't pricey, but just never jumped before. Plus, this copy is minty! 🔥
@vinylrecords Interesting #reggae 45 'Love Your Mother' from Roy Shirley from 1975, released on Hawk Records in UK. Some versions didn't have any writing on the label... Had to compare with an identical copy which did have writing to identify.
Now added to Discogs as a 'misprint' release.
THE WONDERS
That Thing You Do! / Dance With Me Tonight
1996 U.S. PROMO 7”
45rpm
I saw somebody recently post that this entire soundtrack was getting a #vinyl reissue soon, and was reminded that I had the 7” single for it somewhere.
I bought this a looong time ago simply because it’s one of my all time favorite movies, and I love Adam Schlesinger.
None of my #45s are registered on Discogs, so once I found it, was shocked to see it goes for over $100 CAD. #vinylrecords#90s#90smusic#90smovies
NEAL HEFTI / TOM GLAZER
Batman Theme / Superman Song
1966 Canada 7” pressing #45rpm
I’m 99% certain I got sunstroke today. It’s hot as hell outside & feel like The Elephant Man.
I battled through to dig through a ton more #45s today for about an hour, & found another 20 or so gems.
This is for sentimental purposes, and the 8 year old version of myself, the lover of the #batman tv show from ‘66. This cover is different than the U.S., but it’s the same record. #vinyl#vinylrecords#dc#dccomics
Life On Mars? b/w Life On Mars? (live) by David Bowie (1973)
40th Anniversary edition picture disc
It’s picture disc time! It’s also Bowie Time. Always the right time for something by him.
The picture on Side A is of course a still from the fabulous Life On Mars? video. The pic on Side B is of David performing live. The live version of the track was recorded in Boston in 1972.
