@SK53@cquest@edward We will have three LoRa enabled sensor boards with NDIR sensors and some WS2812 to show current Levels available to borrow out on sunday at #Fosdem for an hour or two to take to different talks or devrooms. Visit us at the #Checkmk stand at K ground floor and ask for Sara or Mattias.
Hey #electronics folks! <3 I want to build a CO2 sensor with a battery life of several months. First using prototyping boards, then maybe as a custom PCB.
Some questions:
What kind of approach/device would you suggest to measure the power consumption of such a device? I hope to end up in the single-digit mW range.
What would be the lowest-power components required to drive a small e-ink screen?
Does the 328P seem like a suitable controller, if I don't need any connectivity?
@blinry Feeding LoRa transmitted data from the #Watterott CO2 Ampel to #Checkmk monitoring on the Input side and querying the REST API on the output side to show service states on a bunch of #ws2812.
If you want to take the sensors to talks, feel free to ask us at the Checkmk booth at #Fosdem#fosdem24 in K, ground floor. We will happily borrow you one for an hour or so (we will have three in rotation).
Honestly: Who are you going to impress with your workplace? These days, the bike workshop or the garage I worked 25 years ago would be more impressing to today's people I meet.
Could someone help me on this? I have two #Mastodon instances, one that was set up using 3.5 and updated the way to 4.1 and one that was set up at 4.1. Both run Ubuntu 20.04 and were installed from source.
Now I try to extract #Sidekiq monitoring data (for #Checkmk, but SW is irrelevant). This works on the "old" instance, but not on the new. Can someone point me on the different configuration that might cause this?
