The Romans renamed Judea to in 135 CE after suppressing the Bar Kokhba revolt.

The name "Palestine" was derived from the term "peleshet," which appears in the Hebrew Bible and is believed to mean "rolling" or "migratory."

The renaming was part of a broader effort to minimize identification with the land.

The name "Palestine" became common in Early Modern English and was also used by the in the Middle Ages.

Harlander, to random

I now have a cover for the book I'm currently writing.

Harlander, to random

1256 words today. Didn't quite make the goal but it was a good effort, since I had to work today. Managed to get about 400 of those words written during my breaks at work.

I got another 519 written after midnight to finish the scene I was working on, though, so I'm well on my way for the daily goal for tomorrow.

Crusader sword found in Mediterranean was bent, possibly in battle
A recent study reveals that a sword coated in sand, which was discovered at the seabed of the Mediterranean Sea close to Israel, was probably unintentionally lost by a Crusader during a battle that occurred approximately 800 to 900 years ago.

It certainly seems as though these moral want to expunge these from not because they are in nature, but because these books threaten some of their fundamental , such as the belief that , , lives are somehow more important, and more central to the experience, than other lives.
