Edit: IT'S OUT! Screw that screw! :D
Thanks for all the advice and support. In the end, a huge amount of WD-40 did the trick, so I didn't have to do more drastic measures. Still good to know for next time. ^^
Original Toot: DIY elephants, can you help me out? How do I get a screw out that sits really REALLY tight? I want to remove some sort of cup holder thing in the bathroom that was screwed in by previous tenants.
It looks like it hasn't been moved in a century and doesn't want to start with that now.
It's also very close to the wall, so it's hard to get a grip to begin with. And it doesn't help it's a slotted-head screw either.
And yes, direction is correct, should be the same as the other two I managed to remove eventually. ;)
I have an electric drill but would need to buy the right screwdriver bit first, (and I am not sure it can get close enough to the wall for this.)
Would WD-40 work or just make this screw even more slippery?
@Sirablopp beside wd40 (great idea! Hopefully I will remember!) there are bits which screw into the screw and once they are deep in it, the screw will start moving. Not sure how they are called and how well this works though
@EOAK Looks professional done, good job! I'm doing fine...Just watched "Killers of the Flower Moon". It was pretty good, the nonfiction book is likely 20x better.
Okay, I didn't expect a Manba Gyaru in my Do it Yourself Live Action, so the club house being built around 2003-2004. So the show probably takes place in 2026-2027, maybe.
Did you know there is a live action Do It Yourself adaptation.
Well, while it's only in Japanese (sailed the seven seas), it has Japanese subtitles, so I can understand it. Besides a few obvious differences as Miku/Purin’s robotic jellyfish being a smart speaker and Serufu only have a pet dog, the story is mostly the same compared to the anime.
Also, Miku has a pretty nice computing setup, with an RGB mechanical keyboard.
@chikorita157
Probably not enough budget to get a pig and a cat. Did any live action in japan have a Babe-style pig before? Definitely Silver Spoon. So japan is no stranger to acting pigs.
