Lunchtime walkies in the books. Hot and sunny right now, so the place is a steam bath after the rains. Right now the sky is blue, but it’s supposed to storm in about 45 minutes.
I suddenly have this 3 yo Australian cattle dog, a breed about which I know nothing. So I looked into it. Ever since I found out that they’re descended from dingoes I’ve been asking her “hey, did you eat a bye-bee?” and damned if this doesn’t melt away all her shy reserve, causing her to jump into my lap and wiggle, every time. Turns out she just needs periodic acknowledgment of her rich baby-eating heritage. #dogs
Imagine, Someone puts something down in front of you that is bigger than your head! Something that you have never seen before, some kind of animo, but not from a can.
Give it a really good sniff, it smells kinda good. Your keeper comes along and shows you that if you pull stuff off of it, Oh My Dog, you can eat it!
Barking & crying at it doesn't do much, but sink your teeth in and you get the idea, not too much though! We are not animos, you know.
I bought this huge Pork Roast a month or so ago. One reason - it has a bone. It just went in the oven. Soon, the Great Hall will be basking in the aroma of Sunday Dinner. When it is all said and done...
