This is a long shot, but does anybody know if an English translation (fan or otherwise) exists anywhere of the Japanese light novel series Eien No Filena/Eternal Filena?
It's an older series (85-94) so it's unlikely that it was digitized, much less fanslated, but even if scans existed of the JP books that people could point me to, that would help a lot!
Not the translation of the anime (already found) or the SNES game (also found).
Anyone have any leads on people (likely college anime clubs or early internet fandom) who did 80s - 90s J light novel translations or scans? Even if they don't have this series, they might know someone who does.

Got all nostalgic after poking around Dreamwidth and so I went digging through my old collection of downloaded LJ icons.
It is frankly amazing what was done at that time with just 100x100 pixels. I've never understood why changeable user-icons for mood/subject didn't catch on in the rest of the social media world. Good for sorting by subject at a glance, or figuring out if serious or not. There were some crazy high level of design skills, too. #FandomOld
