or rather you should be very careful when revisiting your childhood games. At least when you're as old as me ( >50 ) because 90% of the games you loved were exceptionally primitive and just bad. And you realize that when trying them again.
If you are just one generation younger, your childhood games are like Super Mario or something and that's... basically cheating. 😄
Someone on #reddit asked about the future of physical media. The #1 answer was piracy. And honestly, they are right. If everything went to streaming today and there was no way to physically own it, I would say that morally, #piracy is justified, but I struggle with this as a #christian . Thoughts?
@tgpo I don't want to sound entitled to everything, but I do want an option to physically own it. I would almost say that if you subscribe to a streaming service and then download a "copy" of it (meaning all physical media was dead), it would be justified.
But it's also not a bad thing to miss out on most movies. A lot of new stuff isn't super interesting to me.... #iamold
Just saw that Ryan O’Neal has died, and that he was 82.
That should not surprise me, as I know how old I am and when I remember him as quite the movie star… And Yet!
@tomtitbaobab Today's "fun" word, wilco. Never seen a word go from zero to steady use the way wilco does. It's a contraction of will comply to wilco, and I'm guessing it came into use after WW II with the advent of commercial air travel, air traffic controllers, and pilots needing a quick, definitive way to acknowledge the controllers instructions and their intent to follow them.
