That GitHub Enterprise pricing at $39/mo/user or an eye-watering $468 a year.

This is a good reminder that products are an absolute steal.

  • dotUltimate: $469 on the first year and $281 a year from third year onwards
  • All Products Pack: $779 for the first year and $467 a year from the third year onwards

Honestly, JetBrains IDEs are the best deal in professional tooling software there is.

new solution dialog is really excellent. You can see all the options more easily and see more of the advanced options that typically ship with templates. The team really did a great job with it. Check it out!

@khalidabuhakmeh ah YEP it just works out of the box. Nice to see support this now. Yet another tick for Rider and to stop using Visual Studio

The IDE I'm using is .

Note: Cool features from RustRover include automatic dependency refresh, HTML Language injection, and a built-in browser in the IDE (via plug-in), not to mention really good language support.

That’s a good way to ensure I don’t take your survey, since I’m probably only going to take it when I’m staring at my phone, trying to kill time somewhere.

@sashag The thing is, this is a survey for , a tool I love and wouldn’t mind taking a survey for, but I’m traveling right now, and will probably not schedule time to remember to take it later.

  • syntax can get wonky (newbie here)
  • static files ✅
  • template rendering 🥸 ✅
  • multiple HTTP methods
  • form handing
  • flash messaging via cookies

So, we've been talking about giving sh!t to #Ivanti recently (and rightfully).. Can we talk about #jetbrains? Like every other week they release security patches....

Yet another JetBrains TeamCity On-Prem vulnerability: CVE-2024-23917 (9.8 critical)

If abused, the flaw may enable an unauthenticated attacker with HTTP(S) access to a TeamCity server to bypass authentication checks and gain administrative control of that TeamCity server.

simontsui,

Why you should care about CVE-2024-23917:
Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) exploited a similar JetBrains TeamCity authentication bypass vulnerability CVE-2023-42793 (9.8 critical) worldwide, as reported in a CISA cybersecurity advisory dated 13 December 2023, less than 2 months ago.

I wanted to see how much assistant could help me highlight the syntax of an unknown language. It took several prompts, but I think it did a good job. This could be a neat feature for tools to guess the syntax of unknown languages and tweak them over time.

It feels like there's more to this JetBrains "AI Assistant" plugin than what JetBrains is letting on. I hope that isn't the case, but I fear it is.

User Experience idea: have ZSA and JetBrains work together. When customizing my Moonlander Layout, I want to assign the icons in PhpStorm to my keymaps. e.g. the stop listening to Debug connection would be assigninable to a Moonlander key.
