So if you need gameplay in Games Hellblade 2 isn't something for you.
If you want to have a intensive cineastic experience then you will like the game probably.
I would suggest to watch a little part of a Let's Play or try it via GamePass. If you like it buy it on Steam for full price. IMHO it's worth the full price.
@cliffwade just reading the word "Diablo" makes me shiver. I played Diablo III and I am traumatized by the nemesis that would kill me in two hits every time they showed up. I can still hear the war horn sound that announces their appearance in my head 😂
@marialeal Oh goodness. Got to love when you remember things like this about certain games. I've never played Diablo III so I'm not familiar with it but will have to look it up.
I was EXHAUSTED this morning as I slept very poorly last night. Today is work w/ meetings, then leaving early to pick up the kids, got a student showcase, followed by a softball game. This is all for the 9 year olds, the other two had school concerts the two weeks prior.
Oh, and my washing machine broke.
So, that's a fun thing to also deal with amidst all the busy season.
Had a weird, busy weekend. Friday was an emotional rollercoaster. Saturday was LONG at a band event with MDMRNia (12) and a gaggle of middle schoolers. Sunday was church / catch up.
It's a new week, so let's all discuss what we did over the weekend and what the week ahead has in store for us.
For me, it's the usual work stuff today. I didn't do much of anything over the weekend except go to dinner with my cousins fiance as he stopped by for a bit. Always good to see him as he's super fun to be around.
Played a bit of Ghost of Tsushima and Diablo IV, and was lazy all weekend.
@cliffwade The hardest part was getting it installed as it wasn’t in the package manager of the distribution I’m using. But once I got it installed, it surprisingly just worked (no futzing with drivers or config files needed). Was able to listen to FM radio stations, NOAA weather radio, air traffic control for the nearby airport, and some local ham activity.
@Abyssnauta Graphics are FREAKING AMAZING! Game play is fun so far, but I'm only just an hour or so into the game. Haven't really done much beyond the opening stuff.
Yesterday, I expected to have a busy Thursday. By the evening, my kid's softball game was cancelled and my weekly tabletop game was cancelled. So, it went from busy to not very quickly.
Today I have a Dr appointment this afternoon that I'm hoping is a good one. Nervous, but shouldn't be.
@satsuma Thanks. Been dealing with what is likely a minor issue (a cyst), but it's on the back of my head, I've got skin cancer in my family, and the doctors haven't been super reassuring this whole time about it.
I have a busy morning ahead with work, field meetings / inspections. This evening (weather permitting) I've got a softball game with my 9 year olds followed by, hopefully, my weekly tabletop game.
Today is a public holiday in my place, no more work pressure like ordinary week days. I have a small walk near my home under the shining sun, sky looks good. Spent most of my time with computer and sometimes with books. A perfect day to me.
The rain did not hold up, so my youngest two had no game last night. Two of their three first games for softball have been rained out this season! Hopefully tomorrow's game is fine.
Tonight is a concert for the Middle School, so I'll be seeing MDMRNia and the Middle School band perform tonight.
