I've had video + screenshare calls with 5 of us without any problem. I did have to setup a coturn for one participant, and I'm aware that it's not going to scale efficiently without significant funds, but a lot of my meetings are up to 5/6 people, so that's great.
I've had better reliability (inc. screenshare) than with google meet, zoom, signal, or teams.
i feel like i should host something like a bigbluebutton ... opentalk was the most voted for but is barely used and i think thats because people dont want to login for meetings hmm
@billbennett I know people like @bigblen who have been running it very happily for a few years now... definitely a viable daily driver for most people. Replaces Google with e's #NextCloudTalk for backups and other cloud services. Think you can also use your own NextCloud if you want. @ojala@IceNine
Zoom now wants you to focus on Section 10 of their ToS which they've changed today to say they won't use your calls and other data to train their AI models. Instead, focus on Section 15. Zoom (like most Big Tech ToSs) can change those terms at any time.
They laughably say you should "regularly check" their legal pages for those notices and if you don't but keep using the services you've agreed to the changes. These services are unethically deployed technology at their most fundamental level.
