Google PH says "SIM registration" was the most searched in news in the country. The top 3 most searched shows or series were K-drama "Duty After School," Filipino drama "Maria Clara at Ibarra," and another K-drama "Moving."
In the PH, Globe Telecom has always had the most subscribers since 2016 up until recently. Smart Communications reported that it now has 55.2 million subscribers after the implementation of the SIM card registration. Globe was left with 54.7 million.

Sa Martes, Hulyo 25, na ang deadline ng SIM registration. Ayon sa National Telecommunications Comission (NTC), hindi na sila magbibigay pa ng extension para rito.
Alinsunod sa SIM Registration Law, lahat ng mga unregistered SIM ay awtomatikong made-deactivate. Ibig sabihin ay hindi na makakatanggap at makakapagpadala ng text o tawag, wala nang internet access, at mawawala na ang remaining balance na nasa SIM.

So, I wonder what my account status is again? I haven't registered, but my Telco, claiming being adviced by the NTC, informed me that my account is "deemed registered," without my consent.
@pinoy telcos intensifying their campaign to register millions of subscribers, with 5 days left before the deadline. According to news reports, less than half of total #Philippines network subscribers has registered.
