2nd article I've read about the wisdom of having the Michelin guide come in tp Malaysia. Malaysians live in community over food. The difference is that we don't rely on guides. We ask family members who'll ask the extended network if in doubt. Food is elevated in Malaysia to a level of social discourse. It's not something we seek to be entertained by. IMHO the #Michelinguide in Malaysia is a glorified #tripadvisor list for tourists. Which devalues the guide. And that's sad!
