Oh nice, #YouTube is now serving #VP9 by default, which is totally unwatchable on this machine because it doesn't have hardware decoding for it.
Not sure whether the problem is #Firefox or YouTube though. According to my search history, I had (tried to?) disable VP9 already at some point in the past. Now I need to debug whether that broke or something, or what else is going on.
Sigh.
Edit: VP9 works fine, but GPU detection failed for whatever reason. Restarting Firefox helped. Thanks @j_r!
Il manque le conteneur Ogg utilisé par ces codecs audio, quand ils ne sont pas utilisés dans une vidéo WebM.
Ogg n'est pas encore pris en charge par iOS. Ce sera peut-être pour le 25éme anniversaire d'Ogg ?
Running 4K 24fps YouTube videos now doesn't drop frame at 1.0x speed, but of course at 1.5x you get dropped frames occassionally, and at 2x it's a lot of frames being dropped. #amd#chrome#vp9
