For myself: Due to one of my last posts (https://norden.social/@olafk/111692820192795966) I've just switched off notifications for favs and retoots: That post went through the roof (for a very good reason): >500 re-toots, >330 favs in 2 days. It just generated too much noise.
I believe they were all in the default configuration for notifications to begin with.
