If you know these webcam views, updated every half hour, probably won't be familiar 😬

It blows my mind how much energy must be involved in lifting that much water up from the ocean into the clouds 🤔

The summit cairn on Lord’s Seat. I say cairn, it’s more a heap of stones really.

In honor of I present: A mossy rock with small ferns and a dead leaf at the Crystal Cascades,

The whole time I'm walking around with a camera, muttering "Mosstodon" to myself and shooting random things with Moss on them.

26/06/2023 - The Rounds of Tivla. I just don't know what to make of this site. Never come across one like it before. High on the hillside (Crussa Field) in Unst. Three cairns, the main one has a small mound of stones in the middle surrounded by three low stone banks with two intermediate ditches. Canmore use the term 'disc-type cairn' which I hadn't come across before. A really interesting site.

I took a video as my photos didn't really show the cairn that well. Just me walking round the cairn looking at the three banks surrounding the inner mound.
