Russland beschlagnahmt Vermögen von Deutscher Bank und Commerzbank
Wegen der westlichen Sanktionen platzte der Bau eines Gasterminals in Russland. Ein Gericht hat nun Vermögen mehrerer Banken beschlagnahmt, die an dem Geschäft beteiligt waren - darunter Deutsche Bank und Commerzbank.
Aktionäre kritisieren Deutsche-Bank-Führung wegen Postbank-Chaos
Aktionäre der Deutschen Bank haben lautstarke Kritik an der Führungspitze des Konzerns geäußert. Die Bank habe mit den IT-Problemen bei der Postbank viele Kunden verärgert. Das Vorgehen sei eine "Blamage".

Wegen Postbank-Chaos: Weniger Boni für Deutsche-Bank-Manager
Wegen der Probleme bei der Konzerntochter Postbank hat der Aufsichtsrat der Deutschen Bank die Boni bei fast allen Vorständen gekappt. Auch Konzernchef Sewing verdiente 2023 etwas weniger.
Damit ist es endgültig, die Deutsche Bank schließt die Filiale in Frohnau. Die nächste Filiale ist drei Mal so weit weg. Gestern einen netten Brief mit der frohen Kunde bekommen.
Die machen aber auch wirklich alles damit man da kein Kunde bleiben will.
Finanzdienstleistungen der Postbank, wie etwa die Ausgabe von Bargeld, soll es in Post-Partnerfilialen bald nicht mehr geben. Die Sparmaßnahme betrifft rund 1.800 Schreibwarenläden und andere Einzelhändler.
Deutsche Bank will nach Gewinnrückgang 3.500 Stellen abbauen
Vor allem wegen einer gestiegenen Steuerquote hat die Deutsche Bank 2023 weniger Gewinn erzielt als im Vorjahr. Obwohl sie mit ihren Zahlen die Erwartungen übertraf, will sie nun Tausende Jobs abbauen.
"Greenwashing"-Vorwurf: Weitere Razzia bei Fondgesellschaft DWS
Die Staatsanwaltschaft hat erneut Räume der Deutsche-Bank-Tochter DWS durchsucht. Bei der Razzia ging es ein weiteres Mal um den Vorwurf, dass der Fondsanbieter falsche Angaben zu "grünen" Geldanlagen gemacht hat.
Probleme mit Postbankkonten werden 2023 nicht mehr gelöst
Eigentlich wollte die Deutsche Bank bis Jahresende Millionen Kundendaten auf einer gemeinsamen Plattform mit der übernommenen Postbank zusammenführen. Jetzt musste sie zugeben: Dieses Ziel ist nicht mehr zu schaffen.

As we learned before #DeutscheBank was #Trump's largest creditor by far, & extended hundreds of million of dollars in credit to him 2011-2021.
#Ivanka said she only dealt w/ Trump's Deutsche Bank point person, Rosemary Vrablic, on projects like #Doral & the #OPO hotel in DC, & was only tangentially involved w/the #Chicago building.
Re the OPO. Real estate firm Colony Capital had planned on financing the deal in part, but backed out.
#NYAG Solomon asked about several of the #covenants for #DeutscheBank's #loan to #Trump for the #DC hotel that the guarantor for the loan, Trump, was required to comply with.
Listing several off, Solomon asked if #Ivanka was familiar w/ them.
Ivanka: “I generally understood that there was a personal guarantee as a condition of the loan as well as other requirements…this level of (specificity) is not something I recall.”
#DeutscheBank's Tom Sullivan sent #Ivanka an email Dec 2, 2013, w/ the subj & attachment "Term Sheet - Old Post Office."
The attachment contained the terms on the $160M #loan amt.
They reviewed the conditions.
#NYAG brought up a revocable trust Ivanka owned: “Did there come a time where your revocable trust guaranteed certain amounts Donald #Trump might have to pay on the Old Post Office loan?"
Suarez showed #Ivanka a letter to #Trump from #DeutscheBank fmr CEO Anshu Jain dated March 14, 2013 which read:
"Dear Donald,
Great to meet you for lunch last week. It was a pleasure to see your delight in the buildout of your family holdings & your justified pride in having your children in the business."
(Not sure what the relevance is / why trump team entered this particular letter into evidence.)
Next Suarez showed emails detailing Ivanka's contact w/ #DeutscheBank exec Rosemary Vrablic, of the lender's private wealth mgmt division. #Ivanka said she got along well w/ Vrablic.
Ivanka: "I was constantly told by Rosemary & the members of her team how much they appreciated the relationship.”
This goes toward their arg that Deutsche wanted to do business w/ #Trump & didn’t have problems w/the loans.
Moved on to Trump's #Doral golf course in #Florida. Trump bought the property in 2012 out of bankruptcy for $150M, backed by a #loan from #DeutscheBank.
Asked about her role in the Doral sale, #Ivanka said: she received a phone call about the sale that was "very inconvenient timing" bc she was "in the hospital, or I was about to be in the hospital" w/her first child.
#Ivanka testified that once the financing details had been worked out, all of her attention was devoted to its redevelopment. (not her new baby?) Just the hotel, though. She said the golf course design was all #Trump.
"My father has an affinity for golf.”
When #Doral was fully redeveloped, Ivanka said #DeutscheBank was pleased w/ the transformation, & changed some terms of the loan in Trump's favor.
#Ivanka testified during cross examination that the #Doral is something she feels "very proud of," especially now that she's a #Florida resident.

"I am SO glad we got to see you & have you show us the new rooms. They look amazing! I have had a wonderful time here & it is really impressive to see what you have accomplished so quickly."
Trump atty Suarez asked how she felt about her time in the family business.
"As I testified earlier, they were complicated projects & I believe that we overdelivered on every metric."
Once the redevelopment was complete, Ivanka said #DeutscheBank was thrilled.
"I recall Rose referring to it as the crown jewel of their real estate portfolio.”
#Trump sold his interest in the #OPO bldg in 2022, for a reported price of $375M.
His original loan from #DeutscheBank for the project was for $170M.
Cross-examination ended.
There was no redirect, so Ivanka Trump is finished testifying.
She was the state's final witness, though #NYAG reserved the right to recall #AllenWeisselberg, but said they have yet to receive the info they requested from the #TrumpOrganization before they can decide whether they will recall him.
