Power creep is a sensitive subject but especially in gacha games as people can potentially spend a lot of money to win a unit that is incredibly strong but can theoretically be phased out of relevancy with new units. However, I don’t think enough people realise that gameplay mechanics can force power creep more than developers purposely designing obsolescence.
#GenshinImpact has power creep (Kazuha > Sucrose) but it’s relatively flat. 5* > 4* but the 4* units can be amazing with investment.

The allure of hot anime men is drawing me back into Genshin Impact. It's strange that I've held off as long; it's been years since I've even touched that microtransaction riddled game.
I can always do dailies to get enough currency to pull those hot dudes. This will be a test of my willpower to see if I get to the point of caving to buy currency. I shall see about not breaking. nervous chuckle

Welp, I think I can safely say that Fontaine has been my favorite part of Genshin's archon quest so far :blob_cat_heart: I remember Sumeru's being pretty good too I think, but it's been so long since I've done it atp that I'm fuzzy on the particulars. Furina's story really hit in the feels for me :blobsob: Although I find it hard to believe that Celestia is just gonna vibe after the events of Ch. 5... I guess we'll see 👀 #GenshinImpact
