@NoNoBrainer Danke für den Tipp! Ein älterer Freund "Diese SCHEISS-Radfahrer" hat seit ein paar Tagen ein E-Bike und probiert gerade mit dem Garmin 600, das er für's Geocaching hat, zu navigieren. Wie ich gelesen habe, geht das, aber mit etlichen Einschränkungen gegenüber einem Bike-Navi. Hab ihm mal das Hammerhead und mein Wahoo empfohlen. Problem: er reagiert nicht sehr schnell und hört auch mit Hörgeräten manchmal extrem schlecht.
Home hat mein Wahoo auch. Das könnte er sich vor einem Kauf ja zumindest mal anschauen und anhören. Entscheiden muss er auf jeden Fall selbst. Er kann da sehr kritisch sein, selbst wenn er sich informiert uind selbst ausgewählt hat.

Manchmal brauche ich für die Erst-Einrichtung von Hardware eine App, die zu viele Rechte verlangt. Ich möchte vor Allem den Zugriff auf meine GPS-Daten durch Fake-Daten ersetzen, während ich die Ersteinrichtung durchführe.
Gibt es eine App/Möglichkeit unter Android, den Standort zu faken?

@ikluft I’ll bet that was a helluva mess to untie. I wonder how many airliners can fly GNSS routes; plenty of older ones cannot. I guess this will drive some upgrades.
@bkoehn Almost all in use today can. Airliners built since around 2010 had factory GPS. Don't forget airlines had early demand for GPS/WAAS for improved instrument approaches in bad weather. Enroute navigation comes as part of the package. Older planes mostly either got RNAV upgrades during maintenance downtime when they also had to meet the 2020 ADS-B-out deadline, or were scrapped during COVID19.
As VOR stations get pared down to a minimum fallback system, V (low) & J (high) airways are too.
XTRA is a PSDS implementation, meaning it downloads static files providing predicted satellite locations and geographical data to assist with obtaining a faster GPS lock. It is not SUPL or IZat. Broadcom GPS relies on the AOSP PSDS implementation but Qualcomm uses their own.
Fairphone is an insecure device with substantially delayed privacy and security patches. It receives the Android Security Bulletin patches consistently 1 to 2 months late and receives the recommended patches years late. It has a broken, insecure verified boot implementation. They have also misled their users about support by claiming their devices will get 6 years of support when they can only provide 2-3 years of security patches. That is not a privacy first device at all.
