I was fighting for the ERA at 5…marches…w/my bra-less mom.
In 9th grade civics…we had a “mock Congress”.
We each wrote 2 bills, served in committees & debated our bills.
Mine based on ERA…never made it out of committee.
I was told it would pass…
But when I asked a girl on the committee what happened?
She said they didn’t want women “drafted” into the military! #morons
I became jaded at 14.

I'm reading that the #IOF after bombing the shit twice out of a refugee camp in order to kill one man have managed to kill 195 men women and children not sure if that figure includes the 7 Israeli hostages they also killed during the attack.
