Suckin' boot and blawin' soot today. Ben Challum in Glen Dochart, more snow than expected and boggy lower down. Good day out but pity the clag didn't clear for us. Munro no. 67.
First Munro (and hill day) of 2024 - An Socach from Glen Clunie, near Braemar. Munro no. 66. Cool, crisp, clear day. Chased the mist, so clear by the time we got to the summit, but cold wind.
Had a great weekend travelling up to stay a night at the Corrour Youth Hostel on the Caledonian Sleeper. Sleeper was great, hostel was very atmospheric, station cafe was incredible.
