The pacers need more killer instinct. I think they'll still win this one, but you can feel them pushing less and letting the lead fall down a bit.
This isn't the only time so far this playoffs I've noticed it.
The #Pacers understandably overplayed Murray with the ball in the last minute, so Jokic nailed a pair of “Threecolas!” — the last with 4.7 seconds left — to close out the 114-109 win. Great road win for the #Nuggets.
Joker finished with 31 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists. Murray had 31 points (20 in the first half), eight rebounds and seven assists.
#Denver is 3-1 on the road trip and next plays Thursday at New York.

#Urbanists in Rush County #Indiana are encouraged to provide early public comment on the county’s Comprehensive Plan, which will guide future land use and #transportation development, at two in-person meetings Jan. 24.
Good win for the #Nuggets with four starters over 20 points. They also held the #Pacers 17 points below their season average (although Haliburton being out helped with that). The numbers:
Jokic: 25 points, 12 rebounds, nine assists, 12-for-13 from the field;
MPJ: 25 points, eight rebounds, seven-for-11 from three;
Murray: 25 points, eight assists;
Gordon: 20 points, 10 rebounds.
Next up: at Philadelphia on Tuesday. #Denver hits the halfway point of the season 28-13.
Gonna go out on a limb and say the Pacers are going to need to make more than five threes tonight if they want to beat the Bucks for a fourth time this season.
Just when you think Tyrese Halliburton can't get any better ... Tied a #Pacers record with 23 assists, and became just the third player to have 20+ points and 20+ assists in consecutive games (John Stockton and Magic Johnson are the others).
He did have two turnovers against the Knicks tonight, so maybe Wally Szczerbiak was right after all ... 😎

Don't tell the #BostonCeltics but supposedly players are responding to the in season tournament by playing even harder than usual. The C's didn't get that memo, based on how they are playing tonight against the #Pacers. Typical 3rd quarter woes.
Celtics-Pacers has been a worthy IST quarter-final so far. The #NBA was brave to schedule this game against the #NFL's Monday Night Football, and it's paying off (but I like basketball more, so I wouldn't be switching over anyway). @nba@nfl
