Hey #quarto & #rstats folks! I'm looking for the lowest friction way for non-tech users to start writing in markdown with git for version control - current thinking is to use #Obsidian with some kind of #git gui... The long and short of it is that our tech team (who are fully onboard with report writing with quarto) are stressing about constant versioning issues and unmanagemeable word docs. Please let me know if you've come up with any good workflows!

Has anyone here experimented with AI-driven narration APIs to e.g. make a #quarto textbook more accessible? Looking to see if anyone has played around in this space.
I update my textbook frequently enough that I can't record everything myself (also, I don't want to listen to my own voice that much) but I do want to increase its #accessibility and allow my more auditory inclined students to access the information in their preferred format.
Anyone happen to know a totally non-technical tutorial for creating a #QuartoPub website? Like for someone who should be using Wordpress but wants to use #quarto 😁. Deployed to Netlify. No Github. Finding lots of nice tutorials, but all are still a bit more technical than what I want. Tagging a few folks who might know: @jadeynryan@nrennie@andrew
Falling down the #Quarto rabbit hole, and enjoying it so far. Experimenting with it as a blog and electronic lab notebook, and am keen on the idea of having raw data + analysis + presentation cleanly in the same version-controlled repository to enable understanding and reproducibility (in my work raw data can be on the order of 10s of megabytes).
Wanting to add some more interactivity to published work in a static site, to work client-side (as a sort of interactive "paper").
anyone know how to get PR preview deploys from netlify of #rstats#quarto websites? seems like PR preview deploys require building the site on netlify itself? but I don't see how the site can be built on netlify. any ideas?
Lo interesante es que la mayoría se cargan automáticamente cuando se necesitan. Si es necesario cargarlos explícitamente, se puede hacer con \require{}.
I just love the #pandoc + #Quarto ecosystem. This morning I wrote up a short statistical analysis for a colleague. One source document in RMarkdown gets me: a Word document for my coauthor, a README for GitHub/Zenodo, and the figure images for the journal. And when the reviewers inevitably suggest changes, I can just change it in one place and regenerate them all!
It's the beginnings of an #rstats package for experimental mangling of #MIDI files. TBH, it's my personal experimental hacky-code base wrapped in R package clothing. I'm messing with it constantly, and sharing in case others are interested. #genRativemusic#Rmuzak#rstatsmusic
@MattCrumpLab Awesome stuff! And just in time to answer my partner's latest question: "is there anything that #Rstats cannot do?" (asked in response to my excitement this evening about making websites using #Quarto)
