Making a #MutualAid request. My wife lost her job and all the bills have fallen on me completely. I am about $300 shy of covering them. She has applied for unemployment benefits but bills are due by the 21st.
I don't know why #PayPal disabled auto funding for purchases. It made it such a useful account. If clients paid via PayPal - great. Use that money. If the account zeroed out, grab from the backup payment methods/accounts. You had a central place to track everything, heavily secured by 2FA. They've really ruined the experience for many with this. I'm not manually putting money in with a 3-4 day wait time. We'll just gradually stop using PayPal. It's a shame. Banks suck.
We use #Square for in person transactions, & that's great. Except Square blocks a lot of debit card uses. It's like having a nanny reviewing every purchase. Hell no. Plus their weird 'pull the fee out first' method of accounting is a PITA financially. So it remains mainly our credit card terminal.#Venmo Business is a joke. The fact I have to pay $ to move money from Venmo to PayPal is... insane. Honestly, it's really getting ridiculous how often you have to pay X% to move your own money around.
The Chime "Pay Anyone” (lol) receive flow is completely broken. So this weekend I sold a coffee grinder to a Chime employee, he had some nice incentives to dog-food their own Pay Anyone product, I was curious too, so I agreed to trying it over Venmo.
@ayn I guess #Chime isn't available outside of the #USA for that reason and the fact that like #CashApp and #Venmo it reduses to comply with #KYC and/or #AML laws...
