Me and #RubiaTheCat spent most of this fine #Caturday figuring out how to make an instrument for @dhilowitz's excellent #DecentSampler plugin.

For a first attempt we sampled the #vibraphone patch on my 40-year-old #Casio Casiotone MT-70 synth.

It'd be lovely if someone who uses DecentSampler could give it a test run and send feedback my way!

Lots of huge #drums #vibraphone and #noise on this album. Fantastic spacious production and a killer sounding #record to boot. Bandleader Jose Medeles is best known these days as the proprietor of Revival Drum Shop, which is a bonafide #PacificNorthwest institution.
