We've been busy helping out at @leigh_hackspace. It's nice to report progress. We've spent time building up the fabrication and electronics areas.
Fabrication now has three FDM 3D printers up and running, a laser engraver and a vinyl cutter. (CNC is in the woodshop). It'll have a dedicated CAD workstation this week with slicer and control software for all the machines, all machines will/are network accessible and are soon to be documented on the wiki. Training to be offered soon.
Electronics has new shelving and paint. We have solder stations, hot air rework stations, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and plenty of stock to work on projects. It looks a bit of a mess, but it's about to have a big sort and will be ready for use very soon.
If you're remotely in the area, we have an open day on the 29th of July. If that doesn't suit, we can do tours on Saturdays or get in contact.
