#HitchinHackspace open evening is on Monday evening.
We will be open from 19:30 until 22:00 to give folks who may be interested in what we do, and what facilities we can provide, a chance to come and have a look round and meet some of our members.
All are welcome. If you have ever wondered what we did to convert a derelict toilet into a hackspace, or what a "hackspace" is for that matter, come and have a look around.
If you like to create, make or craft things why not pay us a visit?
We have tools and equipment that cover a wide range of hobbies, crafts and technologies: woodwork, metalwork, electronics, laser cutting, vinyl cutting, sewing, 3D printing.....

@fluepke Ich halte das DE-Lastschrift-Verfahren derzeit leider überhaupt ungeeignet. In FR mit den RIB ist das sinnvoller.
Verein hat derzeit mehre Anzeigen gegen unbekannt, weil immer wieder Leute das Vereinskonto benutzt hatten, um unberechtigt Deutschlandtickets zu buchen. Die Sparkasse weigert sich, LS für die DB oder meinetwegen auch komplett zu sperren (Dann könnte man das öffentliche Konto für Beiträge und Spenden für LS sperren + noch ein internes für unsere Verträge.) #hackspace

Moin! 🖖 ich habe gebastelt und die RSS-Feeds von allen mir bekannten Hackspaces zusammengetragen. Die Liste ist im OPML-Format, so dass ihr sie direkt in euren Feedreader importieren könnt und immer Bescheid wisst, was in allen Hackspaces los ist.
Wenn euch noch Spaces einfallen, sagt Bescheid und dann füge ich die noch hinzu.
Das erste Treffen steht vor der Tür. Wir wollen herausfinden ob und was in Hamm mit Chaos zusammen geht. Wir überlegen ein hybrides #VR / #RL#Chaostreff und/oder #Repaircafe einzurichten. Dabei suchen wir auch noch Inputs wie wir Inklusion von Anfang mit denken können.
York Hackspace has found a new space to move in to, and the members have just voted for the move to go ahead!
Our new space is almost triple the size of our current space, it'll take a few months before the move happens, but it looks like there's nothing left to stop us! 🥳
We're Sequoia Fabrica, a group of experienced makers and craftspeople starting a new, volunteer-run community workshop in San Francisco.
If you are interested in things like wood-working, textiles, electronics, or digital fabrication tools we hope to have something for you!
We are excited to build a friendly space where people of all ages and abilities can come together to learn and share. We have a prospective location and some exciting ideas for classes brewing!
