Case,

Something tells me the latter has already occurred.

Those spirochetes are leaving hole like a cork screw in his brain.

Case,

It is. Yikes.

Sadly, people think like this, I’ve known more than a few in Texas - having spent my whole life in this shit hole.

This is just a symptom of a larger problem in some communities; and it won’t be the ones most expect - locally speaking.

I’m sure anyone who lives outside a Christofascist state would be right on the money with their guess though.

Case,

You mean Burma? Cause I dig their take on Buddhism.

Case,

I know, a problem that faces every single American, right?

Family Values… yeah, Trump values his families genitals. Look at his “relationship” with his daughter throughout the years.

Case, (edited )

Work has been difficult, mostly due to coworkers lately.

If I’m blaring Rage, like I have all week, I’m ready to walk or to burn the place down. But I’m a lazy man.

Case,

In my southern portion of the US, I find it better to just let shit slide. Never know who is armed with two short cannons, a .38 snub, and the reason for their lifted truck that has never seen “off” roads.

Case,

Waited all summer for the Mexican place in Gardiner to open when I worked in Yellowstone. Gardiner is on the border with the park.

Anyway, myself and two friends, all of us from Texas, were very vocally disappointment. It was so bad. The pizza place was great though.

Case,

Or I mean, Shodan exists. I’m sure the gov has better.

A theoretical botnet I was looking at on github used shodan to identify possible targets to infect.

Case,

I have not, thankfully, worked with too many Lawyers in my adult life.

That being said, I was a child of a government agent. They had a courthouse to fuck put people on trial in house to keep it all quiet.

Lawyers are their for THEM. No one else. I’ve had them spell it out to me as a child because it just seemed evil. For the most part, they are.

Case,

Now I’m thinking of some wide spread agent like pollen being laced with naturally occurring psychedelics.

I mean, pollen, as an allergen is often taken in through the nose, which is a great route of administration to affect the brain quickly.

Oh the rag weed count is high? Get ready to trip balls people, lol.

Case,

I get that old reference, but these days and much more broadly, twink is for a term for a gay man with a certain body type, or other physical characteristics.

So you might get some odd looks using that in public.

Case,

I have an analog clock in my man cave. Its very steam punk in design. It is NOT accurate and is ONLY a decoration piece that gets corrected when I can spare the attention. It runs fast, if anyone cares.

Ultimately, my wife liked it, bought it for me, and put it up. Not gonna upset her over something I really don’t care about.

Case,

Honestly, I pay for top of line parts. I realize I’m limitiing myself on good games, but…

I paid for this shit, I try to keep top of the line because it is still my hobby (though, my time doesn’t allow anymore) and I want to push my hardware.

Low bit games, however good, don’t get a chance because… god damn, I expect better. I’m a 80s baby, and 90s kid. Nickelodeon early nick toons are my jam.

I paid for it, let me experience it.

I want to PUSH my hardware, and fine tune for play-ability, as expenses allow.

That being said, I love MMOs and realize how hard they can be to “upgrade” for all users… but damn, I don’t have the time or energy anymore. I wish I could raid EQ bosses like I was 13 on summer break, but I fucking can’t.

At the end of the day, I hope creative minds create new paradigms in gaming with limited resources. At this point, it is the only way we will grow. AAA studios make rehashes of former successes, which fail, and no one wants them. Gameplay has died, its been several years, and as an “old-head” (Quest for Glory 1 was my first PC game, with parser prompts) and I miss games. Even those are simple by today’s standard - but they still stand up in a shorter format.

Case,

For a real medical answer, I was, at one point, put on GHB and a Stimulant under the theory that an issue that took 9 years to diagnose (epilepsy, did not present typically). Since I had issues with cataplexy, which is only rarely seen with other issues, this made sense. Turns out it can be a side effect of some psych meds, as I’m also bipolar.

GHB knocks you out in moments, and you’ll wake up 4 hours later. Time for the second dose. 4 more hours. Like fucking clockwork. It was the only time in my life I was consistently on time anywhere I’ve ever worked. Wasted in a Walmart auto shop.

Then stimulants (amphetamine analogue) were supposed to keep a narcoleptic awake during the day.

Case,

Worked in Yellowstone.

The bears are smarter than the majority of tourists.

Humans, being able to read and having signs posted in multiple languages for them, choose to ignore the various hazards and blunder through them.

Bears, only rarely, if ever, find themselves in trouble with natural features. And they can’t read the warning signs.

Case,

The nearest public transit that gets anywhere near my workplace has its closest stop 35 minutes away.

Work is 37 minutes away, with general traffic.

So I can drive ALMOST the whole damn way to take public transit, or I can just drive to work.

Public transit does NOT exist for some people. Stop forcing it, because we sure as shit can’t count on votes to make it happen. I’ve been trying since my 20s.

Case,

I don’t like Biden, but I don’t think he is a threat to the American way of life. Ineffectual? Absolutely. On the wrong side of history? So is most of our history, join the club. We do, as a nation, need to do better.

But I do, wholeheartedly believe that if Trump is elected, we will fall from a failed democracy, to fascism; and fascism always fails. Usually in a very violent manner for most concerned.

Case,

There are people who legitimately can’t take some vaccines for legit medical reasons. For example, I worked in a hospital and was required to get an annual flu shot and it was always an issue. Why? I’m epileptic, and it could trigger a seizure. I never had an issue though, and fought to get the vaccine. Only missed one year with a charge nurse who wouldn’t risk it. I then went and got it on my own. Hospital acquired infections are no joke, and that applies to the staff as well as patients.

But other than that, I agree.

Case,

Longest it took…

I was in a “study hall” type class in fourth grade. The teacher ran out of material after a couple weeks. So she decided to read The Hobbit out loud to the class while we worked on homework, other quiet activities, or slept. Really, don’t give her problems, won’t be problems.

I had already started The Hobbit on my own. At the time it was considered college level reading, so not too shabby. So, I continued reading (first time on The Hobbit) and finished WAY before the rest of the class listened. Because duh, a quick mental reader VS a teacher doing voices? No shit, Sherlock.

A girl who sat next to me (assigned seating) brushed the hair out of her eyes, blinked expressively a few times with direct eye contact, and said I must be “one of those cool nerds;” I suppose because I finished before Bilbo left the Shire.

It took me until college to realize. I vaguely remember considering her “kinda cute.” I could have, and in the future sure did, worse.

Case,

Right. I prefer home made fucking whatever, but you know what? I don’t have the time, and if I have the time, I don’t have the energy.

I just worked midnight to noon for an issue on my one day off.

I’m fucking tired. Store bought is fine, I’m too tired to enjoy home made stuff.

Case,

I’m sorry, I missed this. Reputable link please?

I don’t need more reasons to boycott Ubi, but more gas for the fire.

Case,

Obama wore a suit, and he got shit because they didn’t like the color.

Trump on the other hand, wears diapers and has inspired his moronic base to wear them publicly as well. Not just, under their clothing like a normal person, they think its better than pants.

-Written from a republican hell hole.

"If Christianity is man made, why does everything about it go against man’s desires? Atheists can't answer this question" ...but they Can (youtu.be)

If Christianity is man made, why does everything about it go against man’s desires? Does Christianity go against man’s desires? If so, is that evidence for Christianity? I answer this question, discussing the history of Christianity, the cognitive science of religion, Buddhism, Jainism, Islam, and more....

Case,

As someone who grew up in the bible belt, who had too many questions for the Lutheran church and was asked to leave.

I could not reconcile the Church’s desire to HARM people that weren’t a part of it. Jesus was a love all hippy from THEIR scriptures.

Supply Side Jesus is anathema to actual christian practice.

Hence, I parted from the church, and found my own way. It took more effort than listening to a pontificating asshole to achieve, but I’m comfortable with my beliefs. The struggle, the pain, the blood, the tears. All worth it.

For reference, I am a Hecatean witch because Trivia visited me on three occasions. More than Jebus has done.

Case,

Cut myself with a microscope slide. Didn’t realize the lens would drop far enough to break it. Whoops. Ended up nicking my finger getting the slide off.

My proudest science lab injury though, was with a plastic butter knife. Don’t ask me how I managed, but I did. It was an ugly cut too.

Case,

Step one: Buy a few firearms, for different scenarios (which should be easier under Trump sigh)

Step two: Go to work, home, and limit unnecessary errands, order for delivery more.

Step three: Practice marksmanship with various firearms. I have a country, but sane, friend of the family with a shooting range on her land.

Step four: Hunker down in my deep red state, because I hold non-christian belief’s and I won’t recant them on pain of death. Not because my beliefs “protect” me, but because as an American, I believe in freedom of religion and I’ll die a proud American before I die as a Christian, my belief’s don’t matter compared to that. The protection of those belief’s does.
