@bragefuglseth That explains why GNOME app names always sounded generic to me. Not necessarily a bad thing, it just isn't mentally stimulating enough for me.

@bragefuglseth I really haven't looked into much more than just the main ones (aside from Boxes and I think Cheese, which themselves do have names that make them stand more apart while still seeming reasonable enough).

@dancinyogi I guess I feel physically younger than I really am but I never thought about it. For me though it's more that I feel mentally younger than I am, in that I feel like I'm still 12 when I'm actually in my early-mid 20s.

@benjaminhollon Yeah, my first Lumia 822's USB port was defective and it broke within a year (actually just after I installed the first 8.1 DP build in April 2014, so I thought it was that) so it was replaced by Verizon for free. But it's a much bigger problem when devices don't get updates very long. More companies should focus on supporting one device for a while and just allow users to upgrade and repair it easily.

had the horrible idea of writing a git repo that rewrites itself every time it runs the CI for it.

on the one hand it would make the project slightly more elegant in how it works

on the other hand it'll quickly turn into a magician's apprentice problem and might consume all computing power until we unplug it and it tries to fight back and we trigger judgement day
