@DrewNaylor@mastodon.online

I make videos sometimes, posts other times, and software yet other times. Supports BIPOC rights (& Black Lives Matter), LGBT+ (include the T) rights, disability rights, etc. #nobridge

Some projects I work on include #Retiled and #guinget. I discuss them using those tags, if you want to learn more.

I love #WindowsPhone the same way I love #XenobladeX, despite both's issues (I'm strange like that).
My profile picture is of Mitty, my longhair #calico #cat that I loved and miss so much daily.

Looking forward to Plasma Mobile 6 coming out as stable so I can mess around with it and finally get some of my stuff integrated into a usable session instead of everything being apps that run in a plain window. Friendly reminder that panels and launchers are just applications (give or take) that you can develop like any other program, and that this realization is what made me understand that I can do my own shell stuff.

Oh boy, victim blaming! That'll make everyone who was in the data breach feel better! Do not use biometrics to log in, you can't change your iris or fingerprint, your fingerprint isn't as unique as everyone thought, and cops can force you to unlock a device locked with biometrics but not pin/password.

This is...surprisingly accurate.

MTBI = Myers–Briggs Type Indicator, is a many question quiz that creates scores that are tallied and produces the stereotypical four letter personality label. The first position is Extrovert vs Introvert, the second is Sensing vs Intuition, the third is Thinking vs Feeling and the final letter is Judging vs Perceiving.

DrewNaylor,
@DrewNaylor@mastodon.online avatar

@Frances_Larina For me this doesn't work and says I'm an ENTP when I know I'm introverted even though I was somehow popular in school and thus I'm pretty sure I'm INTJ, my room is just too small to have it be clean on a regular basis.

I find it ironic that everybody was terrified that would destroy themes, when instead it made it easier to not only change the colors of but also to add custom to the shell.

Unify app styles and make custom themes better? I love libadwaita!

@bragefuglseth That explains why there are separate folders for GNOME and GTK in /usr/share/themes for each theme.

    DrewNaylor,
    @DrewNaylor@mastodon.online avatar

    @linmob Only tested it on Manjaro but it should work since it's still both Arch, unsure if it will work on the Pro with Tow-Boot, and not sure if this method works reliably as I haven't tested it lately, but I wrote up a blog post last April that describes how to get it so you can switch TTYs with the keyboard and it can be helpful for typing hyphens, though that would require Function+Pine+7 in that specific case.

    @linmob You're welcome, I'm glad. I'm not sure which version I run, it's whatever came with it when it arrived in one of the first non-developer unit batches as I haven't flashed anything else to it.

    Windows 10 build 14997, from 18th December 2016, introduced a new Green Screen of Death (GSOD). It replaces the traditional Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) in development builds of the operating system. This is likely to distinguish crashes between development & final builds. 💥🟩💀

    @cazabon Yeah, I knew about how strict it is from doing research. I think the part about killing or seriously injuring someone is a thing in the US too, because you're supposed to only shoot until there is no threat otherwise if you do one more bullet, you're getting in trouble big time. I wasn't aware of the issue with bear mace.

    The Red Screen of Death (RSOD) is a rare alternative to the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD). In early builds of Windows 98 (1998), a RSOD appeared if the ACPI driver ran into a hardware or BIOS issue. In early builds of Windows Vista (2006), a RSOD denoted a boot error. Spooky. 🔪🩸

    Just improved the All Apps list scrolling with icon loading so it's not nearly as choppy (icon paths are now loaded when an entry is added to the ListModel I'm now using rather than being loaded from within the AllAppsListEntry.qml file through two layers of code), but there's still more work to be done before it's nice and smooth. Guess you could say it "seems faster". It's way more tolerable on the , at least.
