the entire insurrection was planned by people who wanted to put trump back in the white house by any means necessary. I don’t know that it was entirely planned by trump- he’s a moron- but it was certainly done with his cooperation.
There is zero need for him to bring race into this at all. Or even immigration status. The fact that he equates Hispanics as terrorists and feels it’s appropriate to change it to “illegals” is profoundly telling of his views.

Basically Govenor Abott (state govenor of Texas) just declared the migrant crisis with asylum seekers coming up from Mexico an invasion, accused Biden and the rest of the federal government of not responding to the invasion and therefore violating the US constitution.
From there, because they broke the “contract”… he’s saying Texas law now supersedes US law and therefore he’s calling up reservist forces to … well I guess we’ll see what they do.
It’s more political rhetoric and fearmongering about immigrants from the GOP… but the crazy thing is taken at face value… he just declared insurrection against the US

You can try and justify it with “but it was to preserve and protect them and to expose that culture to others”; but at the end of the day, it’s still looting and it wasn’t the British’s artifacts to preserve; and many of the artifacts were sacred to the cultures they came from.
