A sân chơi in the rain. The word "sân chơi" most directly translates to "playground", but the English connotations of that word do not do it justice. Hanoi is peppered with these (usually bare concrete) social spaces and they are heavily used. Sports, dance, aerobics, birthday parties, weddings, overnight parking, festivals. There is little that doesn't happen in them. They may seem rather barebones when empty, but they are rarely empty.
