@yourautisticlife @actuallyautistic I tend to agree with all of your points. Plus, an additional point: The sale prices are often not really reduced prices at all. They usually jack up the prices the week before so they can pretend they're offering you a great discount when they lower it to the original price.

Also, I try to resist buying items I wouldn't have otherwise bought in the first place. If I didn't need widget X before, I don't need it just because it's on sale.

mastodon would do so much better if they'd just call instances "neighborhoods" and said that you should pick your neighborhood based on your interests, so that if you look out your window you'll see your neighbors doing things you find interesting. and that it's okay if you find out you don't like your neighborhood, because you can just move to another one! and all your followers will move with you

and then, yanno, make it easier to search for people you wanna follow cause that shit just sucks

That said, there are a number of self-assessment questionnaires you can find online if you haven't already. RAADS-R is probably the most common one.

Have any of you ever had an MRI? I hadn't, until last night, and I was in it about 20 seconds before I squeezed the panic button and told them this had to stop. I've never been that close to a complete panic breakdown before.
The restraint for my head also restrained my chest, making me feel like I couldn't breathe. The tube is small - inches away from my eyes. And it's LOUD, even with the earplugs.
I have a new definition of hell.

@ScottSoCal @actuallyautistic I have had them before, but only head and neck. Plus, it was the "open MRI" type. I didn't have any panic from it.

@jessica I said yes, but I'm not totally on my tip toes when I walk/run. I usually just have my heels very slightly raised off the ground, with my weight on the front of my foot.
