Impromptu garage sale this morning because the neighborhood is doing one. I always have extra stuff. It's been non stop for an hour. Garage sales are multiple wins. You sit or stand at your own house, people come to you and give you money for stuff you don't even want. The best. ๐Ÿ˜‚

  1. Goes for relaxing hike.
  2. Falls off bridge into ravine.
  3. Waits for help to arrive.
  4. Still waiting.
  5. Seriousness of the situation begins to set in.
  6. Realizes it's an opportunity for a fantastic pic!
  7. Cell phone has 3% battery.
  8. Posts PIC to Fediverse.
  9. Cell phone dead... Still waiting.

That's how the story would play out with me, because, priorities. ๐Ÿ˜‚

@OutofPrintArchive I remember picking this up for the Xbox 360.

I thought I was going to be getting something of a guilty pleasure. At worst, something that might be so bad it's good, but nope! It was just plain bad.

I know the game has its fans but I did not enjoy the level design. I have never liked the ''walled off areas'' ''kill all the enemies'' level design.

I'd still like to try the Wii version at some point.

The remaster is really trying my patience.

It's not necessarily a fault of the remaster as much as it is the original game design.

It wouldn't be so bad if they let you save anywhere but having to go through ludacris amounts of tricky platforming right before the Longhunter boss and not letting you save anywhere in that stretch is not fun.

I have died multiple times and restarted this section for the last hour and a half.

This might be where I call it quits...

Nope! That's enough for me.

I'll give the remasters of 2 and 3 a shot at some point but I will never return to part one.

It's an interesting game and you can see how Metroid Prime really evolved the design that Turok started, but for the most part it has been an exercise in frustration.
