What is something you can’t live without, technology wise that saves you time?

I have to say it’s my virtual assistant I’ve made. It saves me a lot of time with making reminders and such alarms for meetings or interviews, music etc.

A battery voltage tester was pretty cheap and I was surprised by how often I use it.

This line of reasoning is inspired by a theory in international relations called “realism”, with Mearsheimer, Mordhaus, etc. as their core theorists.

It states that the world is divided by superpowers, fighting for power constantly, with all other countries being mere poker chips for them to divide amongst themselves. What countries or people in them want is largely irrelevant.

Yes, I hope that at least some manufacturers will create analog cars in the future.

[Xitter] just announced a smart TV app for streaming video. Or, more accurately, that it claims it’s building one, with absolutely no launch date mentioned. The appropriately-named [Xitter] TV wants to be “your go-to companion for a high-quality, immersive entertainment experience on a larger screen.”

Lithuania instead built its own liquefied natural gas terminal, named “independence”, which allowed it to break from its dependence on Russian gas.

Independence is not the name of the terminal, it’s the name of the ship used to transport gas. The terminal is called “Klaipėda Liquefied Gas Terminal”

They also do not highlight the difference between Vytautas Landsbergis (the grandfather) and Gabrielius Landsbergis (the grandson). They are an important political family with a large group of people who openly dislike them for destroying the Soviet Union, botched collective farms and constant fearmongering about Russian aggression.

Discussion about what effects that family had on the country are one of the best ways to start a fight in Lithuania, but they were still right about Russia.
