I don’t see numbers on efficiency, but LED strips need AC to DC power supplies to operate. New ones are pretty efficient, but I don’t know how you’d ensure that you’re buying an efficient one.
For efficiency, buying the LED bulbs that fit standard sockets is probably the best way to go. Maybe you could get a really efficient power supply to maximize efficiency with some strips, but I doubt you’ll do much better than getting regular bulbs. You’re better off investing time and money into other things. Insulation is usually lacking. It sounds like you’re renting so that’s possibly not an option.

Thanks. More creepy bug stuff I didn’t know about. The beetle seemed inhibited if not incapacitated by them. It looked to me like a swarming attack, but it could have just been that there were so many that it couldn’t easily move.

The only thing I value in Windows 10 or 11 over 7 is better multi monitor support, and even that is not a giant issue. It’s faster, uses less resources, is better organized, and looks nicer, especially nicer than 10 that looks like a lazy highschool kid spent all of a day on it.

Here’s a bad one. After watching X-Men The Last Stand I thought it was so terrible that I wanted to know what the director (Brett Ratner) had to say about this crapsterpiece.
Among a lot of bad scenes, one that stood out to me was at the start of an assault, Ian MacKallen as Magneto tells Pyro something like “Wait. In chess the pawns go first”. Then they send in a bunch of useless mutants who get slaughtered. It pans back to Magneto and he says “That’s why in chess the pawns go first”. I thought, does the director think the audience is full of idiots? Did he really just have this famous actor repeat the same line within 3 minutes?
When it gets there in the director’s commentary, Ratner says something like “Yeah, we really had this academy award winning actor say the same thing twice.” He knew it was bad, and he still did it! Why? In general, I felt like his commentary was an insight into the mindset needed to make shitty movies.
I just think at some point in my life, there is going to be a wonderful comedic opportunity to crush an apple and I should learn how or train now. e: Anybody else have any ridiculous goals right now?
