LifeInMultipleChoice,

Drive a early 90s Jeep Cherokee to work right now. 50 miles each way. There are less bugs.

Many places have mosquitoes commissioners. An elected official for such.

Note back in that time period though some areas such as Florida had a giant population of love bugs. They were an attempt by us to reduce mosquito population. The love bugs eat mosquitoes so they figured let’s breed and release a bunch of them to kill them off. It backfired, the population didn’t decrease much and the love bugs popped up twice a year in large numbers for about a decade, and slowly died out. (I’m sure some still exist, but they don’t plague the areas in such large numbers anymore)

LifeInMultipleChoice,

I bought a 2 pack of Gel Deodorant recently before flying, put them in my carry on with whatever else I brought. TSA didn’t care to check the sizes as it went through the scanner. It might not matter as much as we are told.

LifeInMultipleChoice, (edited )

Last I saw dynamite was made in gel form. Seems more pertinent than liquid in a way. I actually was going to leave them, my mother convinced me to leave their place and fly home with them. Said to myself I will just chuck them in the trash if they had a problem with it.

LifeInMultipleChoice,

Why would surrounding a vehicle with gunmen who get out of an unmarked vehicle be a proper response to not wearing a seatbelt?

Imagine if we just sent the ticket to their house and didn’t hold up traffic with the dash/rear cameras like a speed trap would do. No officers in danger, no people feeling in danger.

Unmarked vehicles in themselves are questionable. 5 officers in 1 vehicle… strange

LifeInMultipleChoice,

I never said you said those things, I said them. That’s why I used the term imagine. Sorry if you thought I was trying to pick at your words.

LifeInMultipleChoice,

It’s alright, we are getting down voted both for having a civil conversation with possible opposing views (haven’t discussed) lol

LifeInMultipleChoice,

Or as Fox and News Max would air it, the 9/11 activists.

LifeInMultipleChoice,

Chances are 50-50. I’d call it multiple choice

How does the day-to-day work of not wearing shoes in the house?

I have been reading a lot lately about not wearing outside shoes in the house and it interests me even more because I’ve been saving to re-carpet my whole house. It hits me every now and then about how to do things though, like, say I’m cooking all day on Sunday then need to take the trash out. I’m assuming it’s change...

LifeInMultipleChoice,

It is a mixture of things. Carpet gets dirty quicker and is harder to clean than hard floors. Hard floors are worse for your feet, ankles, knees, and cause more pain. It is healthier to walk on hard floors with shoes on, padding and carpet wasn’t much of a deal (closer to grass).

Many people are moving to house shoes, I personally don’t like them. But then again I don’t like walking on tile floors for long periods of time either. It encourages sitting/laying down more often.

LifeInMultipleChoice,

How do they know when they won, who do they fight? Is it over when the rich destroy all small businesses and own everything and we have a dictatorship? Do they just start attacking their fellow working class…? Do they shoot their kids and family members and make it so they have no social security or ability to retire or ever stop working? Surely they have to realize at some point they would fighting themselves.

LifeInMultipleChoice,

Good Friday also gets a government holiday in 12 states as well, that should get an honorary mention. In public school ash Wednesday used to be a thing… But not sure if they finally did away with it

LifeInMultipleChoice,

Pentalobe screws are used by Apple, was surprised not to see them listed. They also use a strange tri on some old batteries.

LifeInMultipleChoice,

Albino Black sheep I always figured. Stemming from the line “I am le tired” from the end of the world flash video. So early 2000s likely

(Just realized if so, that would make it older than the iPhone… damn time has gone by).

LifeInMultipleChoice,

You just hit me right in the wholesome. I appreciate your response very much. I have been conditioned to expect condescending responses and yours was informative to answer the persons question.
May the road rise up to meet you.

LifeInMultipleChoice,

1 cup of beans can have a shit ton of salt increasing heart issues. Just be careful of how everything is prepared. No one source of food is a way to make a complete diet. For instance that 1 cup of beans can have more salt than 2 large fries from McDonald’s.

LifeInMultipleChoice,

Never said it was an argument. Many people buy canned beans because they don’t want to spend hours rehydrating and cooking them. (This time can be cut down using a pressure cooker and a few other methods) That doesn’t change the fact that canned beans come with the salt and carbs.

Also since you are comparing to beef, beef has more than twice the protein per serving as common black beans. (Calories will be much higher in beef as well due to fat content). Which is why I said what I said originally, watch what you consume and how it prepared. A higher carb diet is what made America overweight to begin with, thankfully neither of these options have sugar in their raw forms

In 2018, Republicans accidentally legalized cannabis. Now 22 AGs want them to undo it (thehill.com)

A coalition of 22 state attorneys general is calling on Congress to address “the glaring vagueness” that has led to legal cannabis products being sold over the counter across the country — including sometimes from vending machines or online....

LifeInMultipleChoice,

I can’t speak for anyone being arrested but if you ever see the thc-a flower they sell, it looks like normal weed. And gets you high like normal weed. Unless cops are doing tests to figure out which is which, surely people will/have gotten arrested with it.

LifeInMultipleChoice,

Depends on the damage. It was a 25% damage rule. You get to storms in the same year that total that and it has to be replaced. (E.g. 12.5 and 12.5%). Don’t think it matters/mattered how old it was.

LifeInMultipleChoice,

If the majority of ram isn’t being utilized you either have a problem or have entirely to much ram. I’m not saying programs can’t be memory hogs, but they should utilize what resources are there to perform better. It would be like turning on a flash light, using all of the power and then covering half the bulb while trying to cross a field in the dark. The CPU and GPU use more electricity when running at higher percentages, ram is negligible for the most part.

LifeInMultipleChoice,

I’m fairly certain I saw the EU already put something into action about trying to turn this tide. It needs to be expanded for sure

LifeInMultipleChoice,

It wasn’t charcoal? That sounds wretched. Would it not release toxins into the house?

LifeInMultipleChoice,

What do you believe in? What would you vote for? Is it to federally place abortion bans, or to place laws that will restrict freedoms for LGBTQ? To have a president who will arrest and remove all opposition, stack court judges and Congress with people who will only approve what they want whether the majority of the population wants that or not stripping all vestige of it being a Republic, democracy or anything salvageable?

Either you don’t want those things and vote for someone who has a chance at beating Trump, or you support those things and are voting for them. Not voting IS a vote.

LifeInMultipleChoice,

Except this is hyperbole. People can live 80 years off eating McDonald’s and others die by eating healthy organic foods in their 50s. McDonald’s is a byproduct of the culture. It doesn’t kill people so much as their lifestyle kills them.

LifeInMultipleChoice,

For me, orgasm is not the same as ejaculation either. But that is rarely noted.
