    @BashStKid @fkamiah17 I took part in an online survey about the Conservatives recently, it could well have been this one. It was full of questions like "Would you be more likely to vote Conservative if Suella Braverman was leader or if Kemi Badenoch was leader?" Since none of the optional answers were along the lines of "I'd have to have a gun to my head before I would consider voting for any Conservative government", most of my answers weren't terribly accurate!

    @davidoclubb I've been getting that ad too. (I have tracking enabled) I can't work out how that contraption works as a "stair lift"

    @davidoclubb I've come to the conclusion that these pictures are an AI's idea of what a stair lift should look like. Each one I see makes less sense than the last. She isn't even wearing matching sandles in this one and the brushes at the front make it look more like a floor polisher!

    @HederaVulpes @thearchers I'm not sure Lynda had much to do with it. I think the Spare Room Fairy magicked the accessible room into existance a couple of days ago and then modified Lynda's memory to leave her thinking that it was all her idea!

    (It's a great idea, just a little unbelievable given that we haven't heard anything about it up to now, eg Adil never complained about the noise whilst the room was being converted)

    @thearchers Are all the women on the same dress size? A couple of years ago Denise borrowed a dress of Chelsea's, then today Susan and Chelsea were trying on Lillian's clothes, with no comments about anything not fitting properly. And a couple of weeks ago Kate asked if she could borrow a jumper of Alice's, which really confused me as in my imagination Kate is at least 3 sizes larger than Alice!

    The cushion cover on this piano stool was designed and stitched by my grandfather circa 1983. He made similar cushion covers for all his dining chairs. Each cover had a different geometric pattern but they were all stitched in the same colours.

    I remember him using large sheets of graph paper to plan the designs. This was probably my first introduction to , long before I knew that was a thing.

    Week 29 of adding a dancer a week & this is becoming absolute CHAOS. On reflection the hats & bells have not helped calm it down, but not to worry.

    So time to wish everyone a very happy weekend, & if you celebrate Christmas I hope your festivities are exactly what you want, & if you don't celebrate I hope your non-festivities are exactly what you want.

    Right. I'm off to jingle some bells.

    A hand drawn animation. There are three clouds on a teal backdrop. The front cloud has a single dancer with a red torso, tall fluffy Santa hat, and holding a golden bell in each hand. They are flanked by two Christmas trees, with small rainbows appearing and disappearing at their peak, and bells on their branches. The two clouds behind each contain more dancers, one from each week I've been doing this, each doing their own move. Each has a torso of a single rainbow colour. Some have leg warmers. One does the gangnam style with sunglasses on. For this festive edition a number of them wear different Santa hats, but one has picked a Viking helmet, another a brightly coloured clown wig, and another a top hat and bow tie. Got to embrace your own path.

    It's 10 o'clock and, as they haven't changed the clocks again or declared a National Emergency, time for Omnibus.

    Though Advent is traditionally, like Lent, a time of fasting, commercial imperatives will doubtless keep the tea-room busy, so I'm hoping to hear from that, with or without background bleating.

    @wibble @thearchers I'm pretty sure that Justin realised that Lillian hadn't been honest with Shula before he phoned her. But Lillian wasn't honest with Justin either. First she didn't tell him that she was planning to bid for the land, he found out from Adam. Then she didn't tell him she had changed her mind about what they would use the land for. He found that out from Alice who didn't know that Justin didn't know.
    I think Lillian and Justin behaved as badly as each other
