And this blue tit might have stretched the zoom on my camera to its limit by sitting at the top of a very tall tree, but I managed to finish the walk with a boop.
It was finally dry enough to get some proper gardening done this afternoon. Shattered now, but did have some pleasing feathered visitors while I was out there.
Also one of our regular wood pigeons, who I am very fond of, although less so today as they are prime suspect in the investigation to find out who crapped in the bird bath within 5 minutes of it being cleaned and refilled.
Good morning! Just in from a pleasant walk as the riverside path is finally dry(ish) land again, and the rain has paused. I think the swan is a bit annoyed that the path is back, although tbf they are perpetually grumpy.
So after a bit of a rushed start to the day I went for coffee with an old friend, had a good chat putting the world to rights (education & healthcare edition) & although it was raining when I walked home it gave me the opportunity to hear a toddler admire my brightly coloured rainbow umbrella VERY loudly & at great length to her accompanying adult.
Very patchy weather today, but popped into the garden during a moment of sunshine and a pigeon was sunning itself in the tree and looking very fetching.
A bit under the weather today so distracting myself by clearing out all the abandoned pictures & animations in my 'in progress' folder. Most have been ditched, but I couldn't delete the baby seagull so...
