The stupidest of all economic takes right now is "but interest rates were 15% back in the days". They were, but house prices "back in the days" were up to 10x lower compared to average income.

What is worse, the idiotic boosting of buy-to-let has dragged renters into the crisis, too.

#Tigger had a check-up at the vet this afternoon & was declared healthy after his long absence. No obvious liver problems, despite having lost a lot of weight 😺👍

That said, he weighed in at 4.9kg today, much heavier than I expected given that I thought he was 5.5kg before his disappearance. Evidently he must’ve been much more – my guess is that he’s lost 1.5kg at least. We’ll monitor him as he continues to recuperate.

Look who just walked in after almost four weeks 😱🥰

He’s lost a lot of weight & scarfed down a plateful of food in seconds, but otherwise apparently very noisily happy to be home 😺

I’m speechless & hugely grateful that the universe continues to move in mysterious ways 🙇‍♂️

A bee flew into my mouth during this evening’s 63km ride & somehow managed to sting my tongue before I spat it out half a second later 😛🐝

Took some selfies & couldn’t see anything obvious, but blimey, it was sore for half an hour 😬
