I will admit that some of the recent comic book films have been a bit dire, but this was a rare exception.

I think some critics just want to hate for the sake of seeming superior or like the cool kid who doesn't like top 40 chart music. 🙄

@timrichards They really have become a much of a muchness since the genre peaked with Avengers: Endgame.

I think a break is needed until they can come up with some new ideas.

    Seriously, getting into Asian and subsequently all world cinema has been the most enriching experience for me, not just from getting hours of entertainment but also learning about other cultures and gaining a wider appreciation for cinema as a medium.
